Stocks managed to deliver bullish follow though on Thursday
Thursday saw the S&P & the Dow joined the Russell and the Nasdaq in forming swing lows, signaling a new daily cycle. Stocks still need to closed above the 10 day MA to confirm the daily cycle low. However, stocks are not out of the woods yet … Stocks printed a huge Selling on Strength number on Thursday
Stocks printed a 1.134 billion Selling on Strength day on Thursday. We have seen that large SOS numbers that print following a cycle low usually results in more volatility. And with a number this large, we cannot rule out an undercut to the 12/26/18 low.
Even if stocks do undercut the 12/26 low I believe that stocks are in the process of forming a multi-year cycle low, which I detail in my Special Report, The Multi-Year Cycle Low.
In my special year-end report we will look at:
* The current multi-year equity cycle.
* The cycle translation and what the means going forward.
* Signals that the bottom is near.
