The Dollar

The dollar breached the 100 level on 3/16, formed a swing high, then began its daily cycle decline. A daily cycle low printed on day 21. A swing low and declining trend line break confirmed the new daily cycle.
When the dollar formed a swing high on day 5, it appeared to be destined to form a left translated daily cycle. Instead, the dollar found support at the 50 day MA and reversed higher. The dollar has been consolidating for the past three weeks. The dollar broke out of consolidation on Thursday. Then the dollar delivered more bullish follow through on Friday. Friday was day 10 for the daily dollar cycle. A new high on day 10, or after, shifts the likelihood that this daily cycle will form as a right translated cycle.
Stocks

The daily equity cycle seems to have gained some clarity this week.
Stocks regained the 50 day MA on Monday. Stocks then continued higher. Friday was day 10 for the daily equity cycle. Stocks have been in a consolidation, printing higher lows and lower highs. Stocks will likely reach the upper stem of the triangle consolidation this week. Since we are getting late in the weekly cycle, we should see stocks reverse lower at the upper stem.

A reversal at the upper stem of the triangle consolidation this week that leads to a daily cycle decline would likely result in a left translated formation to the current daily cycle. A left translated daily cycle formation that leads to a failed daily cycle would align with the intermediate cycle count.
