The dollar printed a new daily cycle high today.

Tuesday was day 8 for the daily dollar cycle. Left translated dollar cycles normally peak on or before day 8. With each passing day the odds will now begin to shift to this cycle forming as a right translated daily cycle. A right translated daily cycle signals a new intermediate cycle.

Week 15 saw the dollar print the lowest point since July. Last week the dollar formed a weekly swing low, which is necessary for beginning a new intermediate cycle. A declining weekly trend line break is required to confirm a new intermediate cycle

Gold printed a reversal on Tuesday.

Today was day 19 for the daily gold cycle. Gold is in the early stages of its timing band for a daily cycle low. Each passing day now increases the odds of forming a daily cycle low. A break above 1287.8 forms a swing low. However, a break above the declining trend line is required to confirm a new daily cycle.

The Miners showed signs of life today.

The Miners printed a lower low today and then rallied into the close. They also broke above the declining trend line. Of course should the Miners reverse and break lower, that will negate the trend line break. Having said that, the TSI have already formed a bullish crossover. A break above 23.78 forms a swing low and possibly a new daily cycle.

I’d like to commend you on your use of trend lines. Not that many techie’s use what I think has become the standard way of drawing them (thanks to Trader Vic who I believe pioneered this “method”). Sometimes the cycle work is over my head, but the trend line use cements the cycle analysis
