We see that after the big sell off on Thursday the dollar followed through with more selling on Friday.
The dollar broke below the daily cycle trend line confirming the daily cycle decline.
Friday was day 15 for the daily dollar cycle.
The dollar enters the timing band to print a low in three days.
The dollar should print a daily cycle low anytime over the next 2 to 2.5 weeks.
A day 10 peak suggest that the current daily cycle should be right translated.
As long as the daily cycle low forms a higher low, the next daily cycle should print a higher high than the 1/04 high.
Day 8 shows the 10 day moving average still trying to catch up to price
It is possible that stocks may need another day or two of consolidation.
The previous weekly cycle formed as a right translated cycle.
The expectation is for this current weekly cycle is expected to make a higher weekly high, breaking above the 9/14 high.
I want to start off by looking at the yearly CCI cycle.
The CCI Index printed a presumed three year low in June.
The CCI peaked three months later in September but fell short of breaking the declining three year cycle trend line.
The CCI needs to break above this declining trend line to declare a new three year cycle.
Corn may have given us a hint on Friday that this is in progress…
This is week 32 for the intermediate corn cycle.
Corn has entered the timing band to print a weekly cycle low.
The next daily cycle low holds the promise of also marking the intermediate cycle low.
On top of all of this, a major USDA report was due on Friday — at noon.
