Stocks Form A Swing Low

Stocks printed its lowest point on day 40, placing it deep in its timing band for a DCL.

Stocks formed a swing low and closed above the 10 day MA on Friday, turning the 10 day MA higher, to signal day 40 as the DCL.

Stocks are currently in a daily downtrend. But a close above the upper daily cycle band will end its daily downtrend and begin a daily uptrend. A close above the upper daily cycle band would also signal a new intermediate cycle.

Stocks also broke below the week 19 low this past week. Breaking below the week 19 low extends the intermediate cycle decline. That makes this week 21, placing stocks in their timing band for an intermediate cycle low.

In the Weekend Report I further discuss the intermediate cycle for stocks. I break down what stocks need to do to form their intermediate cycle low and what are the implications for the pending yearly cycle decline. But here is a hint:

I ran a special report at on 12/24 detailing my thoughts on the pending yearly cycle decline. In this week’s Weekend Report I updated my thoughts on how a new intermediate cycle impacts the pending yearly cycle decline and potentially kick the can down the road for the yearly cycle decline.
