Stocks printed their lowest point on day 37, placing them in their timing band for a DCL.  Day 37 could still end up being the DCL. Stocks will need to close back above both the 50 day MA dn 10 day MA to label day 37 as the DCL.

Stocks formed a swing high on Thursday. Stocks are currently in a daily downtrend.  Forming a swing high and closing below the 50 day MA indicates a continuation of its daily downtrend and signals a cycle band sell signal. A break below the day 37 low of 5390.95 will extend the daily cycle decline.

And if stocks break below the day 37 low — that would make Friday day 43. I would almost prefer seeing this scenario. A break below the day 37 low would cause sentiment to become extremely bearish, which would provide fuel for the pending rally.
