Emerging Markets have been in a year long downtrend when compared to the S&P — until recently.
Emerging Markets broke bullishly above the declining trend line in April and have started to deliver some bullish follow through.
Taking a look at the EEM weekly chart we can see that EEM broke above the 200 week MA two weeks ago and delivered bullish follow through this week. EEM is currently in a weekly uptrend. Closing above the 200 week MA indicates a continuation of its weekly uptrend and signals a weekly cycle band buy signal.
