Stocks closed at another all-time high on Tuesday.

As we discussed here, stocks have not formed a recognizable DCL since late October. These runaway moves often end in a crash. Tuesday was day 45, placing stocks deep in their timing band for a DCL. While stocks are in a daily uptrend, there are bearish divergences developing on the oscillators. These bearish divergences usually precede a cycle decline. This could be a good time to rotate out of stocks into another area — like precious metals.
